The more Jeremy Corbyn presents himself as a leader in waiting the more dangerous he seems as a potential prime minister.
Fortunately, as Jeremy Corbyn shows his true colours he will inevitably alienate more of Labour’s traditional working-class supporters.
My grandfather was one such and he was probably even more left-leaning than Corbyn. However, were he alive today he would be appalled at the party’s direction.
As many Labour Party supporters will be when they realise precisely where Corbyn is leading them.
It just hasn’t quite sunk in yet.
Corbyn still attracts the sort of naive, blinkered support that Tony Blair once enjoyed — until his backing for wars in Yugoslavia, Iraq, and Afghanistan revealed his true colours. Together with the realisation that his domestic policies favoured well-heeled plutocrats like Rupert Murdoch, rather than ordinary voters.
It took a few years and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi and Afghan lives but it finally dawned on even the thickest Labour supporter. The same process will repeat itself should Corbyn enter Number 10, but at what cost?
Although twenty years-ago few would have listened, it’s clear now that Tony Blair is little more than a war criminal. I’m not a psychic but I had a “bad” feeling about him when he first entered Number Ten Downing Street. Although I don’t think that Corbyn will enter office — though I could be wrong — I get the same feeling about him too.
Of course his supporters will counter that he doesn’t support moneyed plutocrats and that’s true. He doesn’t. Corbyn supports their alleged “victims” — who are the complete antithesis of Labour’s traditional working-class supporters.
Jeremy Corbyn has thrown his political weight behind LGBT and other supposedly “oppressed minority” groups. Crucially, and this cannot be overstated, the aforementioned “oppressed” groups also happen to view Labour’s traditional white working-class supporters as their “oppressors” too.
So when does Corbyn intend to reconcile these conflicting support groups?
As yet he hasn’t tried to. In fact he may not have even recognised their conflicting claims.
For he may be more interested in reaping their support rather than in settling differences between them; and make no mistake, the Labour Party is now fraught with conflict between various factions, none of which are in anyway representative of the parties’ traditional support base.
The only thing that currently unites them is their opposition to Theresa May’s Conservatives. Nothing more.
It may not be reflected in the opinion polls yet, but it is only a matter of time. Presiding over a party fraught with such divisions, Corbyn’s leadership could mark the Labour Party’s final death knell. Ed.

L’Oreal’s first transgender model who was sacked by the cosmetics giant after claiming all white people are racist has been enlisted as an equalities adviser to the Labour Party

Kate Ferguson — Daily Mail Feb 27, 2018

A transgender model, who was sacked by L’Oreal over a race row has been enlisted as an adviser to the Labour Party.

Munroe Bergdorf, 29, was dropped by the cosmetics giant after she branded all white people ‘racist’.

And she sparked fresh controversy in December when she repeatedly used the n-word during an appearance on Good Morning Britain in December.

But it has emerged that she has got a new role advising Jeremy Corbyn‘s Labour Party on LGBT issues.

The role will see her work with Labour’s shadow secretary of state Dawn Butler on equality issues.

She announced the news yesterday on Twitter alongside a picture of her with the Labour leader.

She tweeted: ‘Thrilled to announce that I’ve been asked to be part of an LGBT+ advisory board for The Labour Party – To advise Shadow Secretary of State for Women and Equalities, Dawn Butler MP, on issues affecting the LGBT+ community…’

A spokeswoman for Dawn Butler MP said: ‘Dawn is proud to stand with those challenging discrimination. Dawn will consult with the LGBT+ advisory group on a wide-range of LGBT+ issues.’

The 29-year-old British star appeared in its recent ‘#allworthit’ campaign with Cheryl Cole and Katie Piper.

But she hit the headlines when she was dropped from her lucrative new role, after branding ‘all white people’ racist.

Tory party vice-chair Helen Grant has written to Ms Butler urging her to revisit the appointment.

‘There really is no excuse for these abhorrent slurs and, fundamentally, they damage the campaign to promote equality and diversity across public life,’ she wrote.

‘When Jeremy Corbyn was elected Labour leader, he promised a ‘kinder politics’.

‘Yet it seems every day we seem some new example of abuse from the Labour Party.

‘The kind of language Bergdorf has used has no place in public life, and ought to be condemned by all those who are serious about promoting equality.’

James Cleverly, vice chairman or the Tory Party, told MailOnline: ‘Monroe has said deeply unpalatable things about ‘white people’, gay Tories and even the right to vote, yet Labour has now appointed her as an equalities adviser.

‘Many people in the Labour Party will have serious concerns about this appointment.’

Ms Bergdorf, who was born a boy called Ian, works as a DJ and trans activist as well as modelling.

She began living as a woman at the age of 18 but was prescribed hormones by a doctor only four years ago.

In a lengthy Facebook rant earlier this year, she wrote: ‘Honestly I don’t have energy to talk about the racial violence of white people anymore. Yes, ALL white people.

‘Because most of ya’ll don’t even realise or refuse to acknowledge that your existence, privilege and success as a race is built on the backs, blood and death of people of colour.

‘Your entire existence is drenched in racism. From micro-aggressions to terrorism, you guys built the blueprint for this s***.

‘Come see me when you realise that racism isn’t learned, it’s inherited and consciously or unconsciously passed down through privilege.
